Welcome to LifEscrow. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website, web applications, or services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by LifEscrow ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LifEscrow provides a secure digital continuity platform designed to help individuals and families organize, protect, and communicate critical life information. The Service includes:

• Estate Roadmap: A privacy-first planning solution to store clues, directions, and asset locations without storing sensitive master credentials.
• Estate Vault: A premium encrypted vault with advanced continuity tools, document uploads, and trigger-based disclosure.
• Advisor Portal: A dedicated interface for authorized professional partners (lawyers, financial advisors, insurance brokers).
• Business Continuity Module: Specialized organization features for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain the accuracy of such data.

3.2 Security Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including master encryption keys, passwords, and MFA settings. LifEscrow employs a privacy-first, zero-knowledge/highly encrypted architecture. We do not store, and cannot recover, your master passwords or private encryption keys. If you lose access credentials that are not mapped via your designated recovery paths, LifEscrow cannot retrieve your data.

4. Navigators and Conditional Disclosure Triggers

4.1 Designation of Navigators

The Service allows you to designate trusted contacts ("Navigators") who may request access to specified information within your Estate Roadmap or Estate Vault upon the occurrence of certain life events.

4.2 Conditional Disclosure Triggers

Disclosure of your securely stored instructions is strictly bound to the configuration of your activity monitoring and proof-of-life check-ins. You grant LifEscrow the authority to notify and disclose specified records to your designated Navigators once your pre-set trigger conditions are verified.

4.3 Verification Limitations

LifEscrow uses automated systems and multi-stage verification to confirm trigger events. You acknowledge that no automated system can prevent 100% of errors, and you assume the risk regarding the accuracy of the trigger logic you self-configure.

5. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Cancellations

5.1 Pricing Tiers and Product Variants

• LifEscrow Roadmap (Basic): Privacy-first planning including asset location mapping, jurisdiction-based checklists, Navigator assignment, and activity monitoring. Monthly or annual billing.
• LifEscrow Vault Premium: Everything in Roadmap plus advanced encrypted document storage, legal document uploads, trigger-based conditional disclosure, and AI estate summaries.
• LifEscrow Vault Family: Expanded encrypted vault infrastructure scaled for multi-recipient disclosure, audit logs, and family-wide continuity.
• Advisor Portal: Monthly subscription for professional partners.
• Business Continuity Module: Monthly add-on or standalone framework for entrepreneurs.

5.2 Founding Member Program

Promotional launch cohorts (such as the Founding Member Program) may offer a discounted price for life on specified tiers, subject to maintaining an active account in good standing and avoiding account lapses.

5.3 Billing and Renewals

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and automatically renew at the then-current rate unless canceled. Current rates are displayed within your account portal prior to renewal.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard. Access to premium features terminates at the end of your current paid billing cycle.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, logos, trademarks, and source code on the Service are the exclusive property of LifEscrow. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for personal or authorized professional use.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifEscrow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill; any unauthorized access provided commercially reasonable security has been maintained; or the premature/failed release caused by user configuration errors, trigger errors, or fraudulent Navigator submissions.

8. Data Privacy and Compliance

Your privacy is paramount. Data collection and use are governed by our Privacy Policy. LifEscrow maintains end-to-end encryption and regular security audits.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and stored data may be permanently deleted per our retention policies.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is incorporated. Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Amendments to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to the new terms taking effect. Continued use after revisions become effective constitutes acceptance.
